- Core + Excursion B (Pacaya Volcano on Nov 11) + Excursion C (Lake Atitlan on Nov 12-13) = $2,538 per person

Encounter Communities Being Transformed
This trip will give you an opportunity to engage with the power of your compassion in action – firsthand. During your visit, you’ll get to see several community projects in realtime including:
- Local savings groups that help people experiencing poverty build financial stability
- Emotional health and wellness efforts
- Agricultural and animal husbandry projects that help families break the cycle of poverty
- Chicken coop projects and other small businesses
- CarePoint operations and their holistic impact in the community
Experience the Beauty of Guatemala
This trip will provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience Guatemala, a hidden gem in Central America that offers an abundance of natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and diverse experiences. With stunning landscapes, including towering volcanoes, lush rainforests, and tranquil lakes, you will be in awe of the country’s natural wonders. Guatemala’s fusion of indigenous Mayan and Spanish colonial influences makes it a hub of cultural diversity, where you can explore colorful markets, sample delicious street food, and visit ancient ruins.
In the optional Excursion B to Pacaya Volcano, you’ll experience a day hike at the volcano on Saturday, November 11. This volcano first erupted over 23,000 years ago and is currently one of the most lively volcanos in Central America. Departure from Guatemala will be anytime on Sunday, November 12.
In the optional Excursion C to Lake Atitlan, you’ll spend time at a beautiful resort area destination full of Guatemalan culture on Sunday, November 12 and Monday, November 13. In addition to being able to explore the Lake Atitlan area, you’ll also get to participate in a 3-village tour and zipline through Reserva Atitlan. Departure from Guatemala will be anytime on Tuesday, November 14.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at the time of registration.
Final payment for remaining ground costs is due October 15.
