Enat CarePoint Animal Husbandry and Self Help Groups
In the Hawassa area, there are eight CarePoints operated by Children HopeChest, the Enate CarePoint community, is one of the communities that have 131 families and children. In this area, animal husbandry is rare. However, there is a high need for animal products at the hotels and individual levels in Hawassa City. Besides, the productivity of the animals is very low. The main reason why the productivity is very low is that around the Hawassa area, the agriculturalists have been using the local cattle breeding system and backward animal farming scheme. To contribute to the solution, such kinds of projects should be connected with animal research centers, veterinary medicine experts, and modern high-breed technology transfer.
Gifts made on this webpage will be split evenly between the Enat CarePoint Animal Husbandry and Enat CarePoint Self Help Groups projects.
