On this trip, you will be part of a small, personal group led by Ken Sparks, President and CEO of Children’s HopeChest. You will get to interact with local staff on the ground and engage directly with members of the community. This fully immersive vision trip allows you to engage, encounter, and witness transformational impact amidst the beauty and cultures of Ethiopia and Uganda.

Encounter Communities Being Transformed
During your visit, you’ll get to see several community projects including:
- Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) that help people experiencing poverty build financial stability
- Agricultural and animal husbandry projects that help families break the cycle of poverty
- Income-generating activities and small businesses
- CarePoint operations and their holistic impact in the community
- Leadership Training for students of the Uganda Leadership and Entrepreneurship Development Program (UG-LEDP)
Depart from the U.S. on January 18.
Travel from Ethiopia to Uganda on January 25.
Return to the U.S. on February 3.

This trip will also provide a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go on some excursions near Murchison Falls National Park, including an African Safari. These activities will take place on January 25-26.

A non-refundable deposit of $500 is due at the time of registration.
Final payment for remaining ground costs is due by January 5, 2025.
*Ground expenses include lodging, food, in-country transportation, safari, and Murchison Falls. Expenses are an estimate, and final price may change as trip details are finalized.
