About the Partnership
Evergreen Church Ministries has partnered with Children’s HopeChest in the Aware area of Ethiopia since September 2014, working to equip children, families, and the broader community for a stronger future.
Aware CarePoint, located in Yeka Sub City of Addis Ababa, serves approximately 150 orphaned and vulnerable children, along with their families and neighbors. More than just a drop-in center, the CarePoint is a place where children receive holistic care—including education, nutrition, healthcare, and emotional support—while also engaging families and the community in long-term development.
Many families in Aware face challenges such as limited financial resources, poor sanitation, unsafe water, and overcrowded living conditions. Through education support, essential resources, and counseling—particularly for those affected by HIV/AIDS—Aware CarePoint is empowering children and families to break the cycle of poverty and build sustainable, independent futures.

Your donation to Aware CarePoint directly impacts the lives of vulnerable children and families in Ethiopia. Funds raised through Team Aware will provide essential support such as daily meals, school fees, medical care, and counseling for children affected by poverty and HIV/AIDS.
