Abenezer’s Children’s Home provides holistic care for orphaned and vulnerable children and brings hope to an impoverished community in the northern part of Ethiopia. Nearly 100 miles north of the capital city, Addis Ababa.
Many of those within the community live in poorly built housing structures, and suffer from inadequate sanitation. Many children in the area are without critical resources such as safe shelter, clothing, food, and access to medical care. Education is at arm’s length for a number of children whose parents are unable to afford a uniform and school supplies.
Yet, despite these hurdles, Abenezer’s Children’s Home is a safe place where children in need can come to receive care, guidance, and community.
With the partnership of New Community Covenant Church, the children at Abenezer CarePoint have the opportunity to grow physically, spiritually, and emotionally while the New Community Covenant Church community also experiences positive transformation!
